Terrain: rolling hills, dirt roads, and mowed pasture, there may be water at one or more hazards. The entire marathon is on the show grounds, no need to cross roads or traffic. Cones Ring/Warm-up area Footing: mowed Grass/Grass and sand warm-up Other Information Veterinary/Health Requirements: Negative Coggins within 1 year of show date, please send copy with entry, health papers for all out of state horses. Stabling Information: 10x10 semi-perminant stalls, only 40 available; preference will be given to those horses traveling the farthest. Other stabling available close by. Driver/Groom twice around allowed on marathon? (Article 910) Yes Entry Requirements: Must be at different levels, if space allows and at organizer’s discretion. Misc. Show info: Jr drivers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a knowledgable horseperson in the vehicle at all times, failure to comply will incur elimination. The course walk will be done by pickup on Friday afternoon. All hazards are centrally located and can be walked to easily from the stabling area. Spares kit recommended for marathon. Breeching and/or breaks are required for marathon. ADS Approved helmets are required for marathon. Silent auction during the Saturday night dinner. There will be a Muffy Seaton Clinic on Monday Aug 11. there will be only 8 lessons available on a first come first serve basis, please send clinic request with your entry. Lessons are $75 for RMCC members and $85 for non-members, please include a seperate check for the clinic. Schooling carts with wire wheels are acceptable for training level only.
